Ashley and Cameron Destination Wedding in Portugal is like a fairy tale of the modern times. Both Americans, flew from North Carolina to have their dream wedding in Portugal. They got ready at the emblematic world famous luxury Hotel Palácio in Estoril, for those who don’t know, this hotel is quite historical. Royal families from around the world stayed and keep staying at this hotel that celebrates 90 years of existence and is considered World Heritage by UNESCO. Another curiosity is that German and British spies would use its bar for their encounters. These stories of intrigue and espionage inspired famous novelists and filmmakers. The 007 Agent James Bond movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” was filmed at this hotel. Super nice isn’t it? We are so sure that Ashley and Cameron did their research and knew that they had to use this venue at some point on their destination wedding day! Another brilliant choice was the location where the ceremony took place: Monserrate Palace in Sintra. Being Sintra already a misty place and its weather totally unpredictable, to arrive at this palace, feels like you are a different part of the world rather than in Portugal. The marvellous palace, featuring Indian, Gothic and Moorish influences, which emerges at the top of the typical British lawn, is a hidden gem. It was a rainy day but do you know what they say? Rainy wedding, blessed wedding and so Ashley and Cameron didn’t get too upset about it and had a great time with their family and friends that travels from different parts of the world just to witness the union of two amazing persons!
